Reader comment on item: The Clash to End All Clashes?

The recent riots over a cartoon are just simply ridiculous and out of proportion to the publication of such a cartoon; Jesus has been depicted in cartoons, it is just simply a communication and laughter; which is one of the human traits.

As for your comments, as always they are well received; but your comments on moderate muslims, leaves me somewhat puzzled. If such a population exists, then why are they always silent?

Not always silent, there are plenty of brave exceptions. But they are still, sadly, the exceptions in a threatening and violent environment.
