One may also view more of JQA's writings in THE AMERICAN ANNUAL REGISTER for 1827-28-29. New York, 1830. Ask your librarian for it, although you may have to travel to a large library to read the book. In it, JQA also expresses the need to eliminate islam. If one performs the proper research (as I and many others have done), one can only come to the conclusion ...

islam also subjugated an important holy site to Christianity and Judaism in Jerusalem - which is one of the reasons why the palestinians are trying to hold that area. They think mohammed found this site when in fact he destroyed the people and claimed this area as his own (as typical) by the sword. The crusades were a delayed response to the horrendous aggressive behavior of mohammed's followers. Also, since the koran is written in arabic, most muslims do not even understand what is written in it. And since they claim that it can only be fully understood in arabic, many if not all never even read it - so they only believe what has been taught to them by the ... imams. it's all spread by rumor and story with no one actually reading history or the koran.

"Between these two religions, thus contrasted in their characters..." JQA

What he means here is that Christianity teaches people to be meek and humble, while islam teaches aggression, subjugation and murder. In this way Christianity, and indeed all other pacifist, peaceful religions and spiritual endeavors, will be overrun and oppressed by islam. ...

Also, Winston Churchill and Alexis de Tocqueville arrived at similar conclusions to JQA.
