hey dude, i hear what you are saying and let me just add a couple of things to what you wrote, ok? I totally agree that UNDER the guise of Christianity there have been countless attrocities against humanity. However, notice my terminology here, "under" and "guise." You see Christ's teachings are summed up in this, To love the Lord you God with all your heart mind and strength, and the second, to love your neighbor as yourself.

Ok so let's make it clear that this is the example He set for all peoples of all nations who would follow Him in Spirit, and Truth! You know why all that crap happened (i.e. the murders of Jews and witches, and muslims...) it's because an emperor of Rome became a Christian, and in his futility of mind, made it a state religion (something that the Jews wanted Jesus to do but He didn't b/c that wasn't God's plan, Jesus moved socially, as well as the Apostles) and then things went downhill from there for many years. Now I'm not a Catholic basher, but what became known as the catholic church was a puppet (I believe) of satan to manipulate and control the people. did you know that at one time it was illegal to print Bibles in any language the people could easily understand? wow, why would God not want people to know His word if faith comes by hearing, and hearing from the Word of God?

so you see what happened during the dark ages by "christians" was not what Jesus lived, preached, or condoned (i.e. let He who is without sin cast the first stone). I also must add my friend that Muhammed started out very peacefully, yes he did...however it was later that he took to the sword, attacking caravans and murdering Jews, Christians, and anyone else who didn't submit or pay the jizyah (I don't know if i spelled that right). also he gave himself glorious rights that no one else had and so therefore put himself above all other humans, some humilty there (where Jesus lowered Himself to the lowest point, even to death on a cross so that the sinful might know freedom, stark contrast dear friend).

I have been researching Islam alot recently and no I don't consider myself an expert, but I must say that I have a deep love for muslims, and I wish God's peace upon you. I live my life wanting to know Truth, for all who ask receive, all who seek find, and to those who knock, the door will be opened to them. read the Injil and you will see that the Jesus of the Bible is not the Jesus of the koran. peace out dude, and no hate towards muslims or anyone for that matter who smacks Jesus or me (as He said, Lord forgive them for they know not what they do...)
