You said the Qur'anic verse that says "killing a single soul is like killing the whole of humanity..."; "is misquoted as it is taken in reference to bible in the koran. No one is concluding anything from this verse but from the below verses"

In my country we apply some British laws in our courts, does that mean I cannot quote those laws since they are originally from British? Know that this verse is written in my Qur'an & Islam admits the massengership of both Moses & Jesus. Please say the truth for only the truth can set you free.

As for the other verses you qouted suhc as:

"We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they set up with Allah that for which He has sent down no authority, and their abode is the fire, and evil is the abode of the unjust 3:151.

And prepare against them what force you can and horses tied at the frontier, to terrorize thereby the enemy of Allah...8:60

This does not necessarily means violence & killing, the best Tafsir (explanation) for it is to get prepared so that our enemy would not think of attacking us.
What America did to Saddam has casted terror (fear) into the heart of Gaddafi of Libya to postpone his nuclear ambitions without killing anybody in Libya.
The Gov't of Hamas in palestine has terrorize the West & Isreal despite the fact that it is a Democratic one.

You also qouted:
I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.8:12" etc.

This verse is not giving orders to the Muslims, pls. re-visit your sources.

You also qouted
, And slay them wherever ye catch them 2:191

, And fight them on until there is no more Tumult or oppression 2:193

these 2 verses are totally qouted out of context, both the 1st & the 2nd verses are qouted at the middle & WITHOUT COMPLETING. And verse 2:192 is jumped completely.

Pls. read the completion of the 1st verse :
... Send them out as they sent you out, & never fight them at the sanctuary of mecca unless they fight you there. But if they kill you kill them, such is the recompence of the unbelievers.

Read also the completion of the 2nd verse :
But if they cease, let there be no transgression...
The last verse you qouted as "Fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem ..." Now doesn't the image of Islam as a religion of peace sound, after all, a little bit hard to believe? ...

It is not hard to believe, bcos it depends on the situation. When the west pledge the reward of 25,000000 dollars for anyone that either kill or link to the arrest of some key Al-qaeda members wherever you find them and seize/freeze their bank accounts etc, no body said it is not for the peace of the world.

In some cases the Islamic way is even more peaceful, bcos Qur'an said at the completion of the verse 'if they(unbelievers) repent & establish prayers... then leave their way free, Verily Allah is oft-forgiving, most merciful.

But for instance, if today someone like Usama etc says he wants a pardon from the West will he be pardoned & left to go free?
