islamic obama is not a huge shock.

Reader comment on item: Barack Obama and Islam: An Ongoing Saga

Submitted by Phil Greend (Canada), Aug 26, 2009 at 18:25

President Obama has now fully accepted islam as an equal religion and culture. This dispite the extreme elements and the lack of goodness.

It was very interesting to hear President Obama says that America was partly created by muslims and that islam has added to American culture. I have no idea, what he was talking about. I know that many cultures and immigrants from several countries built America, but what did Islam add ?

It is fine that he is proud of the good Islamic people. However there is a clear need to speak out strongly against radical islam. President Obama is not doing this.
