Perhaps if Mr Redmond would look at the sweep of history and the civilization which the Christian philosophy has produced, he would be not so hostile. The humanistic notions of the value of life,the respect for humanity, the notion of humanity itself is a Christian construct. I suspect the hostility Mr Redmond has for christianity is more a reflection of lack of education of history than anything else.
