Ishmael IS the decendant of Abraham. He IS the prophet to the Arabic people.Not all Arabs are Mu'slams. The Jews and Christians have a direct and written history to Abraham, The "Mu'slams" have no such history to Ishmael or to Abraham. Muhammed, unlike Jesus, according to the Book of John, has no connection to Abraham whatsoever. Therefore, so called "I'slam" is a composite mythology, comprised as it is of bits and pieces of Abrahamic belief systems , with no history other than the declarations of an obscure Arab merchant,
