The Man Who Would Unify the World

Reader comment on item: Barack Obama and Islam: An Ongoing Saga

Submitted by Nosharia (United States), Jan 20, 2009 at 21:48

Obama is a Muslim who converted to Liberation Theology. The man who ministered to him is himself a 'coverted' Muslim. Obama's associations with radical Muslims has been documented. He may not consider himself a practicing Muslim but his views of Islam most certainly do not tend to reflect the views of many who know Islam is a threat, both in the sense of future attacks like 911, and in its attempts to infiltrate Western societies and eventually install sharia - at least in Muslim conclaves, to start.

Our government and our mass media have already retreated from the use of terms like "terrorist" and "jihadist" and this concern with Muslim sensitivities is not likely to abate while BHO is in charge. His presence, his name, his origins, his attitudes will undoubtedly encourage the stealth jihad we are already witnessing here, and which is nearly out of control in Europe.

We will see even more charter Muslim schools subsidized by the taxpayers and more Middle Eastern professors railing against US and Israeli policies and actions. I would not be surprised if Mr. Obama feels himself uniquely qualified to bring Jews, Christians and Muslims together into a harmonious relationship. He certain is not lacking in narcissism to conceive of such a messianic vision.
