Why stop there?Reader comment on item: Anti-Semitism Evolves Submitted by August West (United States), Sep 28, 2006 at 08:53 While we are on the subject of attrocities causing unbelivable human suffering, why not go on and say that in 2006, after all history has to teach us, why should there be any wars left on Planet Earth? Why can not the United Nations create a peacekeeping force with all the might we can together put in place, and tell all the non-compliant nations to stop killing or we will stop them by making their country a police state until order can be maintained. We might have to incarcerate people who are committed to being violent no matter what, but in this late stage of Human life on Planet Earth, and if indeed we are civilized, we should be able to make peace on Earth a reality. If we don't, then what is our excuse? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
