Response to Marcos Berenstein's commentReader comment on item: Anti-Semitism Evolves Submitted by Rachelle Assouline (France), Feb 19, 2005 at 12:17 In response to Marcos Berenstein's message: True there was a horrendous genocide of 1.5 Armenians by Turks in 1915. Why don't Armenians themselves raise the problem internationally and write about it? There are many Armenians living here in Paris (France) who complain about why Jews do not talk about their genocide when talking about the Holocaust. Armenians here are a very wealthy and a close-knit community and I think they should do it themselves. It is too easy to rely on other people or worse, blame them for not mentioning it. I am totally again any kind of genocide but I very well know that it will happen again and again --just see the Tutsi, the Darfour, etc. happening on TV right in front of our eyes. A good piece, Mr Pipes! Thanks Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
