The Left-Wing Evolves

Reader comment on item: Anti-Semitism Evolves

Submitted by Octavio Johanson (Italy), Feb 16, 2005 at 12:11

Before 1989, the left-wing was mainly concerned with capitalism and social-justice. Come 1989 and communism collapsed. At that point, the left-wing had to reinvent itself and they adopted multiculturalism as their new reason to exist. That is still true today.

At the moment, multiculturalism means integrating Muslim immigrants (the new proletariat), into white Christian societies (the new capitalists).

In this crazy multiculturalist view, the Jews are seen as an obstacle to peace between Muslims and the West, especially Europe. Israel is seen as a burden to the new era of friendly relationships between Europe and the Muslim world.

Consider that, liberals, socialists and left-wing lunatics still see the Jews as rich and therefore justify anti-Semitism as a new fight against capitalism.

Turkey is a good country because it is Muslim. Israel is bad.

The left-wing has evolved and so has anti-Semitism. There are now liberal anti-Semites, people who defend the Muslims because they are seen as poor.

Left-wing lunatics love everything Muslim and hate the Jews, whom they incredibly identify with the United States.

Left-wingers call their opponents "racists". They conveniently forget how racist and anti-Semitic they themselves are.

Left-wingers are the new Anti-Semites. The expression "left-wing fascists" is very appropriate.
