Response to commenter SimonaReader comment on item: Anti-Semitism Evolves Submitted by brtzg (United States), Feb 15, 2005 at 11:34 "Daniel Pipes' asserts that the past sixty years were golden years for Jews simply because our "only" problems have been intermarriage, assimilation and coreligions." Nowhere do I find in that paragraph the words "because" or "only". I believe that he is saying that the past sixty years were golden years, in which the worst worries happened to be as he mentioned, but they will soon change for the worse. The years were "golden" only because of the decreased Jewish hatred which occured at those times.
