Historically Christians killed most JewsReader comment on item: Anti-Semitism Evolves Submitted by Ron Green (United States), Feb 15, 2005 at 12:28 Dear Daniel Pipes,I enjoy your writing and your pointing out the truth that we better wake up to what is going on around us. I am a Christian first who happens to go to an independent Baptist Church. I realize "so called Christians" or "so called Christian churches" historically killed Jews. I have read history of such things. I never really understood it. My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is a Jew according to my Bible. So why would any true Christian want to murder anyone, especially from the lineage that produced the true Messiah, according to my faith. God said that the Jews are His chosen people, and who am I to question God. So I cringe when the statement is made that, "Historically Christians killed most Jews". I prefer "so called Christians, or so called Christian Churches historically killed most Jews". A true Christian is told to love their enemies (not necessarily like them!), just love them (didn't say it was easy, only through the love of Jesus Christ). So if you love your enemy you would not murder him. I got that off my chest. Thanks for listening. May God continue to Bless and watch over you and your family.
