Towards better understanding of religions.

Reader comment on item: Why Shariah Must Be Opposed

Submitted by A.B.M. Shamsud Doulah (Bangladesh), Nov 18, 2010 at 02:05

Most of the people in the world inherit religion from their parents. They follow the tradition and beliefs of the region they are raised up.

All religions are born out of fear. Sometimes we do not understand what the fear is for. Islam is the gist of the central religious beliefs of the sigle Almighty God.

The Koran is the simplest andmost scientific guidebook for a religious life. In The Koran God says that in the Day of Judgement your soul will be adjudged considering your conscience. It is not prayer; sacrifice or ritualistic show that will determine your spiritual belief or way of life. Fun and formality are not religion. Faith and performance are the actual goal of religion.

All religions carry the same message. With the passage of time priests and mullahs have made the religions complex and highly ritualistic for their own benefits and control.

Islam solvs all problems. Just have faith in God as the Creator, Knower, and Shaper of all the Universes and everything that exists therein. We are one of the creations of the triliions of creations of God. We have many limitations. We cannot think beyond our thinking.

God is beyond our thinking and imagination; erroneously many think of God in human shapes and form due to limitations of thinking and imagination. No arguments. The Creator of the greater Universes is God.

What is the foolishness in thinking that God may have four hands or ten hands; or that God may have sex with a human female to give birth to His sccessor God; or that God may exist in fire! Perhaps it is now time in the 21st century that we should not continue to have such stupidity.

Let all human beings unite and have faith in one God. Let us all serve humanity, this is the highest of all religious service. Let us love all human beings. This is the only way for our survival towards ultimate peace and happiness. Otherwise, we may fail to achieve the true spirit of great religions handed over to us by the great thinkers in the past.
