Reader comment on item: Why Shariah Must Be Opposed
in response to reader comment: not entirely useless

Submitted by Seamus Dafydd Dives MacNemi (United States), Sep 15, 2009 at 17:11

Islam was born into a time of great babarism in human history so it should not come as any great surprise that the words of the Prophet reflect the realities of his time. But that time is now long past except for those who deliberately choose to continually recreate it. You cannot continually live in the past despite your most fervent wishes to do so. What is past is now history and lest the errors of the past be repeated we must be prepared to take the bold step forward into the world of the unknown. This is the true test and the real proof of the true believer regardless of his professed religious belief.
