Reader comment on item: Why Shariah Must Be Opposed
in response to reader comment: true Muslim or not?

Submitted by Sufi Imdad Ali Soomro (Pakistan), Sep 15, 2009 at 23:38

Thanks dear, for providing me novel opportunity to explain real position of Islam. It is never mentioned in Quran to kill any innocent person, or those people who are living either in Islamic state or some where else peacefully. Only in case of war, Muslims are permitted ( not individuals )to wage against holy war against infidels. In era of holy prophet, accords were made with Jews in order to maintain peace. In the conquest of Mecca, holy prophet had declared grand amnesty and forgave even his bitter opponents.

When OSLO Peace accord was signed all Muslims states as well as individuals whole heartedly accepted it.

Regarding to Mr. Bilal, it is pretty difficult to grasp his statement. Such statement, if he has given is not only irrelevant but also out of context. Islam never gives permission to any individuals to pass sweeping statements which may hurt sentiments and injure feelings of others.
