President Barack H. Obama set the stage for the implementation of Islamic Law in his Cairo address to the Muslim worldwide audience. In his acceptance of the gold 'Merit' necklace, Mr. Obama made the case for Islamic ZAKAT obligations, or 'charitable contributions.' With Obama's seal of approval, ZAKAT and CAIR-Hamas have since expanded the charitable fundraising apparatus in the United States, and in particular, in Chicago, Illinois.
