Shariah is primitive

Reader comment on item: Why Shariah Must Be Opposed
in response to reader comment: nothing wrong with sharia law!

Submitted by Freedom (Malaysia), Aug 30, 2009 at 06:11

You talk as if you know about shariah. I live in a muslim country and I can tell you that there is absolutely nothing good about this primitive law. Saying that there is no rape or related crimes in muslim countries is so stupid. Didnt you hear about the women who was raped, and then sentenced to hundreds of lashes for it in Saudi Arabia? You westerners who have spent short times in Muslim countries know absolutely nothing. why dont you go stay in a muslim country for a few years to see what its like?

Shariah law has no respect whatsoever for human rights and is totally incompatible with modern life. And you not agreeing with this is totally down to your ignorance of what shariah is.
