Why Shariah Must Be Opposed

Reader comment on item: Why Shariah Must Be Opposed

The absurdity of England accepting Sharia Law, in any of its myriad forms at all, is that it is only the Islamists who want it in the West.

Moderate Muslims, who came to the West to, among other reasons, escape the draconian dictates of Sharia Law, find themselves in the untenable position of resisting the introduction of same in their new home while the British authorities succumb to the Islamists and allow its introduction.

What is it about the statement "Islamists DO NOT speak for the majority of Muslims" that the idiotic British authorities do not understand.
