Reader comment on item: Why Shariah Must Be Opposed

Submitted by Phil Greend (Canada), Aug 9, 2009 at 22:22

The Prophet mohammed said that he looked into hell and saw that most of the people were women.

Then he spoke the koran and laid out shariah law.

In muslim countries where they kill people for being apostates of islam, hang gay people and beat their own children to death during honor killings this is all done under shariah law.

We in the West would never accept laws and quasi laws based on a totalitarian regime, such as nazism or communism. So why do we not totally reject shariah law. It is just as evil as nazism if not worse. I say worse because islam is a religion, so many people truely believe in it and some people feel bad about saying anything against a religion , out of respect.

We would reject nazi law, in the same vein we must reject shariah law.
