Assimilation by force is a crime and to say, "what would you do?" is not an argument.

Dear chick,

Germans called Turkish people so that they would do the jobs that German people do not prefer to do. It was the modern version of bringing African people to USA. Ofcourse voluntarily. OK. But as soon as East Germany united them, they didnot need Turkish people anymore. So Germany wants either to get rid of them or assimilate. Assimilation by force is a crime. Everybody knows that.

To say, "what would you do?" is not an argument. People are people everywhere. If you let them, people act only according to their selfish benefits. If you let, no one will sacrifice for others. But living together requires long term plans and living as humans needs some arrangements. Germany called them end changed their lives for good or for bad, so they took their responsibility to assure them living with the same rights that Germans have. No German is forced to assimilate in any other country, neither in Turkey.

I don't say Turkish are better or Germans or any other community. People are people, living according to the laws. The ones that establish the laws are doing that considering human rights as well. It is not fair to change the attitude and policies to the people once you needed and invited.

I am astonished to see that everything, life, politics, economy etc. is treated only as if religions organizes them all. Are we still in 13.th century, or are these people who writes here, still live with blinkers.
