the worst enemy of Turkey

Reader comment on item: Islamism 2.0

Submitted by yasemin (Turkey), Nov 25, 2009 at 17:14

Dear Mr. Pipes

The worst enemy of Turkey is the President of Turkey and his government.

We hope he no longer will be worshipped by the west.

Religion and politics should never ever be together. There is no such thing as moderate Islam, if religion becomes the government, they cannot be stopped being facist.

Religion as political power is neither religion, nor democracy, it is the pure monster facism.

Hope that we get rid of them as soon as possible. But not very easy, because they cheat and change the votes.

Every wise man in Turkey who are against the government's politics are in jail, journalists, proffessors, artists, writers, doctors.

They listen to all the telephone conversations. Censorship the internet, even youtube.

The government now is totally against modern Turkey, and all they do is trying to convert Turkey to religious Ottomans, as if it is possible. And to be able to do that the government tries first to disintegrate Turkey.

The government hates all citizens that can think and talk .

And so, this government of Turkey is the worst enemy of Turkey.
