Tariq Ramadan repeats the same error that most Islamists do

Dear Dr Pipes:

Thanks for publishing this article on Islamism 2.0. I stumbled upon a video by Tariq Ramadan. In this video Mr Ramadan states that "Islam has already become a European religion because there are European born Muslims." Islamists are so biased by their colored vision that they cannot apply the good old principle of symmetry. If there are muslim citizens of Europe, Islam gets no credit for it. In fact, Islamist are obligated to return the favor -- if Saudi citizenship could be granted to immigrants to Saudi Arabia and other Islamic nations, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism and Christianity could also have been religions of the muslim lands (I hate to use the adjective 'muslim' before lands but have no choice).

This video indicates that even Muslim intellectuals will not go far enough.
