World Lions Hunt Now - But Truth Waits for the Lion of the Tribe of Judah

Reader comment on item: Islamism 2.0
in response to reader comment: lions on the hunt

Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Dec 9, 2009 at 14:26

It is submitted here that the simile of lions on the hunt is more apropos to the circumstances the world faces in these times than accorded by some in the face of similar danger. Dr. Pipes has been sounding the alarm of the watchman on the wall for years and years, and because there is the problem that some have ignored his prognostications of the dangers associated with the contemporary spread of the influences of Islam, there has been the desensitization that comes with repetitive nature of constantly unheeded warnings. One might (but not this reader) infer the Dr. Pipes is 'crying wolf', or is warning 'the sky is falling', instead of telling any who might listen that eventually, if left to its own devices, shari'a law will become the law of the land of every place that did not heed the warning and take appropriate and active measures for assimilation by its protagonists.

In Christianity, there is the Biblical allusion by the Jewish fisherman that the Adversary is going about like the roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. The Adversary is doing just that, and in the latest tact, religious intolerance, such as that practiced by the most fundamental Islamists, is his primary tool. That is not to say that religious intolerance by other belief systems is not any less virulent, but they do not appear to be on track for world domination such as it is seen with Islam. Not even Christianity has captured the minds of a complete world in the same way as Islam, or there would never have been the opening for Islam to be gaining as it has in a world that frowns on true discipleship in Jesus Christ.

Now, there is a distinction to be made about the cause of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as opposed to Malcolm X and his brand of radicalism, that Dr. King's message of equality for the African-American in America was a process that should have been accorded in peaceful terms, and not in the impatient terms of Malcolm X and his followers who took Dr. King's image for their own, but not his message. Dr. King was not a proponent of Islamic tendencies as we see of others here in America.

In the final analysis, there is no truly 'soft' form of Islam, that as indicated earlier by this writer 1.0 and 2.0 Islam is a two sided, dual approach to overcoming the world in the name of the Islamic Prophet. That there seems to be an avoidance by some to not make an association with the historical attempts and the modern attempts to assimilate Islam into modern societies for the purposes of implementing shari'a law on a world wide scale is in complete concordance with what we are seeing today. In Israel there is the more obvious efforts in violent terms(1.0), but the rest of the world is just as exposed to a 'softer' (2.0) loss of freedoms in the efforts that comes from a more 'moderate' approach of Islam's spread. But eventually, moderatism in Islam will disappear as the shari'a is finally imposed in its full form until the return of the Eternal One of Israel, when Islam will finally meet its match and will be defeated in the Rule of Israel's King.
