Most "peaceful" Muslims haven't the courage of their convictions untill they have established a base within a country. At that point theradical element steps in and "informs" them of what their Quran really says. What all of his "friends" within the Islamic community will eventually do is buy into the abrogation of the Quran that states only the latter writings of Muhammad are relevant.

The former are supplanted by the latter as any good Muslim will fess up. So, Joseph will have his eyes opened one day to the true reality of his friendship with Muslims.
