Reader comment on item: Europe's Stark Options

The fact is , its impossible to predict what will happen in Europe during the next 20-50 years. A lot depends on whether the United States wins in Iraq and establishes a serious democratic base there. then, the domino effect of, most importantly, mentality change will hapen. Inevitably, European Muslims will become more relaxed and assimilated. If, on the other hand, the States pulls out prematurely or simply miserably fails in Iraq, then the "terrorist mentality" will proliferate throughout Europe and anything....will be possible.
