Birds of a feather flock together

Reader comment on item: [The Islamist-Leftist] Allied Menace

Submitted by TruthAloneTriumphs (India), Jul 30, 2008 at 05:55

It is hardly surprising as both are ideological bedfellows, whose dreams are - a common superstate, brotherhood or comradeship, totalitarian leadership, intolerance of dissent and the death of the sentient individual in the name of a higher imaginary idea (either Utopian state or God).

As ideologies, they are counterproductive to evolution and innovation as they tend to homogenize the inherent diversity of things and are destined to fail over a period of time.
