Controversial Alliances Found in the Holy Bible's Alignment of Nations Against Israel

Reader comment on item: [The Islamist-Leftist] Allied Menace

Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Jul 9, 2008 at 14:01

While this reader has concentrated on the issues of the Middle East as being centered on Israel and Jerusalem (so much so as such things are evident in the threats made against Israel for still being in the land as promised to Abraham Isaac and Jacob), and the Arab population in collaboration with its Muslim brothers wanting to use ‘Palestinians' to evict Israel, it is further evident that other governments are to become involved besides the ones already mentioned.

It has been long thought that the reading of Ezekiel chapters 37-38 described certain countries that would come upon Israel to diminish and eradicate (wipe….off the map) Israel, a few of their modern names being offered as Persia, Russia, Libya and others of the European continent. But we read in the Revelation and elsewhere in the Holy Bible of other unnamed countries later coming into the fray, only to be judged in their unbelief in the Eternal Sovereign of Israel.

Taken in this modern context and in historical continuity, there has been difficulty for some in discerning how all nations are to be judged, some eliminated and some brought into submission to the throne of Yeshua HaMashiach in Jerusalem. Recently, in the G8 Summit and by announcement of the President of Iran, a subtle adjustment of prophetic implications occurred that brought to light a better understanding of Ezekiel and its fulfillment. How many think that the position of the new president of the Commonwealth of Independent States (Russia) answering to a perceived threat of a missile system targeting the Middle East is Scripturally peculiar?

This brings into extreme focus the topic of this post, and as mentioned before, the unlikely alliances that are being supernaturally coerced into compliance with the Hebrew Holy Scriptures. It also calls into remembrance that size of the army coming with the kings of the east; who else besides China can field a 200 million man army, besides possibility of that many coming from a billion people population of Muslims.

And yet, Israel will still come out on the other side, being set as the center of the world. Now, how does one wonder, outside the prophetic knowledge of the Holy Bible, that this could even be? As it happens, that only in the Holy Bible do we find this is going to be so, even as we now see the nations align, (even as a leftist-Islamic alliance) according to the Holy Bible.
