Here are some things everyone should consider:

Goals of the Far Left of the Democratic World

• One World Government run by the UN
  
• Government involved in everyone's life providing for everyone
• No public displays of Christianity or Judaism
• No more money spent on religion
  
• All countries in a progressive mindset designed on making sex and medicine more widely available
  
• No conservative free speech

Goals of the Islamists

• One world government under sharia law
• Government running everyone's lives via religious police
  
• Only religion: Islam
• All other religions marginalized, Christians/Jews subjugated
  
• Conservative Christian free speech is gone
  
• All countries answerable to the Qu'ran
  

So you see, when all is said and done, they are quite similar.
