Dr. Pipes actually did have the reference to the "communists doing Tehran's dirty work in delaying the launch of Israeli TecStar satellite"--as well as a general reference which covered the same.

Anyway, the deficiency was already corrected by several commentators (with one attempt at obfuscation by Nura, who idolises the ultra-ultra-deluded Sunera Thobani).
