The problem of ignorance

Reader comment on item: [The Islamist-Leftist] Allied Menace

Submitted by Rebecca Moulds (United States), Jul 5, 2008 at 21:14

Unless there is greater emphasis on the public to learn about radical Islam and its intent, the world will continue its merry way in a downward spiral until it hits rock bottom. The intellectualism of the Left fits in very nicely with the Islamist ideology; they make a very cozy but dangerous partnership which, if left to its own devices, will mesmerize the nations into a false sense of security.

The latest craze of America-bashing coming from Europe stems from this ignorance about what radical Islam stands for, and the lifting up of radical Islamist elements makes a mockery of justice. That we must defeat this is obvious; a repetition of Nazism is too frightening to contemplate.
