Many thanks to brave people to have helped my father escape from Iran .

As I said, "I was only born in Iran," and my real name is Zari Namdar. I carry 2 legal passports:Austrian and American. My Austrian passport was a gift by president kirshlager of Austria. Why? Because my father was "Ambassador Mostafa Namdar" to Austria right before the nasty revolution in 1979!

In 1979 or at the end of 1978, my father had to return to Iran and was the last chief of protocol of the royal king pahlavi. He was 61 years of age. When the revolution broke,my father was among the list of wanted to be jailed as a political Iranian traitor and a CIA member ,posted every day in the new Islamic republic of Iran's newspaper .

As I recall ,The German Embassy in Tehran started to help my father's escape from Iran. My father's best language was German. He started in German school of tehran ,then got his 2 PHD,in Heidelberg university in Germany during world war 2. His first job as a young man was with Siemens.

Well he managed his escape by the help of Iranian Kurdish brave men, by crossing Arrarat mountains,during winter time,10 nights by foot in ice and snow, to reach the Turkish border. My father passed away in {Napa Valley , CA } as a proud Austrian American "grape wine grower," PARIS wine". Today I would like to thank all the kind people who helped my father to escape. I have no clue who and where these lovely people are!
