Putin and his buddies

Reader comment on item: [The Islamist-Leftist] Allied Menace

Submitted by Ugri (Finland), Jul 17, 2008 at 12:03

Two things come into my mind. Vladimir Putin once said 'Muslims are Russia's best and most trustworthy friends'. By googling (I hope there is such a verb) 'Putin Muslims' one gets plenty of evidence of this warm relationship. Although Russia no doubt nowadays claims to be free market state, strong vestiges of marxism certainly remain.
Another thing. Prophet Ezekiel's grand eschatological vision (chapter 38, 39) paints a picture where the armies of Gog and Gomer fight side by side and "

Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them". Plus others, many coming from "the house of Togarmah from the far north".
A nice bunch we have here.
