Response and addtional discussion on leftist/islamist alliance

I disagree with this assumption. Reading Atlas Shrugged last year convinced me once and for all that leftists really are totalitarians, and that they have a death force operating inside. After reading this book, I completely understand (and abhor) the admiration that leftists feel upon witnessing the results of terrorism: no, not merely admiration, but even envy ("I wish I had the guts to do that").

To paraphrase Rush Limbaugh: Unlike liberals, conservatives just come out and say what they mean.

I don't know if that's always the case, but what I can say is the left has very elaborately covered it's tracks.

1. Tolerance and diversity. The reason why countries in Europe put up with Islamist nonsense is because they must. They have two choices: Either dump the immigrants, lose the labor force and therefore their standing and influence in the world overnight as well as their free college and health care, or let the Muslim Islamist minority hold street rallies about the destruction of their own nations.
   
2. Were this 1908, Surak, these folks would be given the boot no questions asked. It's not about some higher principle of tolerance and equality, it's about leftists staying in power. Just look at the age of the politicians and compare it to the population projections. If Islamists are really going to destroy the Western EU, they won't be around to see it.
