Reader comment on item: Intimidating the West, from Rushdie to Benedict

Submitted by Pir Sahab (Bangladesh), Oct 26, 2006 at 21:29

The stronger the belief in something/somebody, greater will be affiliation and love for it/him.

The Muslims have infact the strongest belief, and love for the Holly Prophet ( Peace be upon Him), the Holly Quran, and the Sunnah. Then, it is obvious that the Muslims will show outrage against anybody who will try to defame our Holly Prophet by using stupid languages (like Rushdi, Isioma Daniel Pope and others did).

To be very honestly, if somebody insults a child in the west. the child will never forgive that person. The child may sue in the court and the court may give verdict against that person by punishing him. Now, if insult for a child is unethical and immoral for the world then why the Muslims keep silent over these blasphemies and attacts on our faith.

The Muslims have never insulted the Christ ( May peace be upon Him). Then why western society is attacking upon our faith? I invite the whole humanity to study the muslim beliefs and courses of life. I am sure your misconceptions about Islam will be removed.
