Satanic verses -- it is the nature of Muslims to get mad?

Actually, not many Muslims read the Satanic Verses. I used to have a Muslim friend -- highly educated person. Let it suffice -- I don't want to reveal any further. He was all excited and burning with rage -- how Salman Rushide dare insult Islam? After I had read the book -- I asked him what has Salman Rushdie done? He said he called Prophet's wives prostitutes.

I asked him: "have you read the book, where did he call Muhammad's wives as prostitutes?"

Educated man's response was : No he has not read the book and he is not going to read it either. Such are the responses of a highly educated man. Making allegations before ascertaining the facts. One can imagine how an uneducated Muslim thinks and acts. What they hear from the Mullah in the mosque in the Friday sermon is the ultimate truth. Thinking on their own is sheer blasphemy as such thinking might lead them away from the "truths of Islam" as revealed in the Koran and that will send them straight to Hell.

The greatest victims of Islam are the Muslims themselves that have been kept from the real knowledge and the greatest gift of humanity -- thinking. Blind belief in the Koran is what Islam is all about. Ultimately the reason and logic will win but by that the Muslims would have caused untold harm to humanity.
