Islam a laughing stock - it requires ridicule.

Reader comment on item: Intimidating the West, from Rushdie to Benedict

Submitted by Tony (Australia), Oct 2, 2006 at 04:47

Barely a day goes by without another glimpse into the twisted logic of the Islamic mind. Today its Muslem Minneapolis cab drivers refusing to take passengers that are carrying duty free alcohol..! The other day it was a German opera that offened Muslems. Close on the heels of the pope bruhaha & lest we forget the moronic outbursts over the cartoons

Instead of getting wound up by this puritanical stupidity, I believe that its all adding to the vast realisation of what the civilised world is dealing with here. Just as the 'religion of peace' slogan is treated as a joke - it is now time to start openly laughing at these fools. Lets speak up and if it causes offense...well tough... !

I see the death rattles of a mindset that doesnt belong in a civilised world. Not just for the west but for the sake of the greater muslem populace. Why cant Mulems take the good from their faith and live & let live with the rest of the world. Why cant women be treated with the equal respect of men first of all..? Why do muslems harbour this feeling of superiority when all evidence makes a mockery of such delusions..?

So pick holes in this cult. Mock it. Laugh at it. create cartoons, write books -contribute to blogs like this...a strong dose of reality is required for those who cant or refuse to face reality. Its a big world & even though there are 1 billion Muslems - that means that there is 5 billion who havent fallen under the spell of this. ..
