Reader comment on item: Intimidating the West, from Rushdie to Benedict
in response to reader comment: Islam a laughing stock - it requires ridicule.

I'm 45 years old and I have never experienced anything as ...horrible as this latest Islamic attempt to conquer the world. Don't just go after the suicide bombers expose the fraudulent "moderates." I actually think the "moderates" are equally as bad as the violent ones because they infiltrate civilized societies and open doors for the numbskulls to attack later.

A few days ago there was a woman muslim on this site who wanted to remind us that there are muslims like her who are peace loving and that not all of them are violent. The main problem with her position is that she only spoke up because we were ripping the violent muslims to shreds. So she wants to "make peace" to continue the spread of Islam. Does anyone see the hypocrisy? "Moderates" are in complete agreement with the violent ones. When we expose the radicals they trot out the moderates to set up round two. Allow me to elaborate on some of your statements:

"Why can't muslims take the good from their faith and live and let live with the rest of the world?" There is no love in Islam... What you see in Mohammed is what you get in islam. If you want good and love search the bible.

"Why can't women be treated with the equal respect of men first of all?" ...women are obvious targets. You can judge a person or a faith by the way it treats it's women. Btw, the bible admonishes husbands to love their wives, children to honor their mothers and fathers and love your neighbor. I mention the bible to shed light on the fact that islam is not for the good of women.

"Why do muslims harbour this feeling of superiority when all evidence makes a mockery of such delusions?" You described insanity in a nutshell. (Pun intended). ...

I'm not only going to criticize and expose the radicals, I'm going after the moderates with equal fervor... the "silent but deadly."
