in response to reader comment: MRay - the west will never learn - it has a soft corner for Muslims

If the West 'wanted' to learn it would have learnt long back. As MRay noted, its gotta do with monotheism vs 'some' or even 'pagan' religion (now who's gonna tell the fools that the concept of Monotheism originitaed in Mithraism and Zorastrianism and spilled over into Indian Vedic Religion. and not that Monotheism is some golden discovery like Einstein's relativity theory or something!)..

But anyways, the West bias against Hindus (leading to bias against India) will never let them rationally see the facts that Islam has not been compatible to the monotheist west, the polytheist India, or the Buddhist or Chinese religions. a 2-bit punk of a Pakistan is created by the Brits within a couple of years when the idea was floated with the tragedy that the majority of the Muslims who wanted Pakistan still remained in India. thats when Indian independance struggle stretched over 100 years. and till now dictators of Pakistan enjoy serious support from US/UK . I kinda like the War on Terror now, led by the terrorists of Pakistan!! Call it Richard Lionheart or Lawrence Arabia syndrome, we cant do anything about it. May be the west will bleed more and learn. we have no role to play. and we shld not expect any collaboration from them. for all practical purposes India has no strategic partner in the world. In some spheres China, Russia and maybe Israel. But it will be an exercise in futility to build any serious bridge with the West except trade/education.
