Reader comment on item: Intimidating the West, from Rushdie to Benedict

Submitted by Yuval Brandstetter MD (Israel), Sep 26, 2006 at 13:11

One has to ask what is the purpose of all this concerted intimidation. The answer was given in 1939, Anschluss. This is the Nazi tactic of demanding the domination of the minority German population over the majority within which they are ensconced, followed by full scale invasion.

The intimidation is really a way to overcome the reluctance of the host population to accept an ever-increasing number of the avowed enemy. Nowhere is this more evident than where Islam already has a major foot hold. India, where 350M moslems live is where the greatest amount of bloodshed occurs. Nigeria, where the Islamic government is intent on crushing all non-moslems to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dead. And of course the Land of Israel, that is Judea, where Islam has established a major presence, is where intimidation is most intense.

On the other hand, the USA and Australia, where Islamic presence might be vocal but is relatively minor in numbers, Moslems tread more carefully, but the intent is the same.

The only way to stop the intimidation, to avoid the creeping Anschluss, is expulsion. Failing that, Islam will win, establishing a Nazi-like regime, and worse over its dominion
