Islam vs. America (ism)

Reader comment on item: The Islamic States of America?

There is no platform that can mobilize in sufficient numbers necessary to overthrough a caring society based upon equality, truth, justice and
democracy. The problem is that since 1918 Europeans and North Americans have slowly drifted away from this ideal. Rights groups politicalized their particular social niche to gain acknowledgement, and the ability to influence society through law.

Race, Religion, National Origin, Sex, Sexual Preference, Skin Colour. All the petty elements of society have been broken down into separate
victim states, and laws have been made in support of this social fragmentation. Equality, how can there be equality when law is made to specifically apply only to, and in reference to, a particular groups needs. Truth has been waylaid by Politics and political correctness. Newspapers, news reporters, news reporting, has become a tool to spread and advocate drivel. Self appointed saviors spouting narrowly-minded moralistic blather on the subject du jour. "If you disagree with me, your bad" .

That's a winning arguement? "If you don't think as I do your not a "REAL"( insert name of country here)". What form of justice do we
practice? Is it just to expect another country to uphold the tenets of democracy, while others slip further and further away from democracy
into a capitalist extremeism where a noble historical democratic idea is prostitued, and replaced by the globalization of unfettered greed and
economic social controls. Can all that makes a society be reduced to a dollar value? Or are we too late? Have we sold our society for a dollar... and every now and then catch a glimpse in the mirror of its passing. Has the memory become the proof that it still exists. Are we being sold the memory of democracy in place of its actual existence?

Why should the people care if there is a Great Britain, a United States, a Federal Russia, a China or even a Canada. If democracy, and nations, under uncontrolled capitalism, can be sold out from under the people for a dollar. What chance does religion have of replacing these two great institutions of social developement. Religion isn't a social developer. It's a social restrictor and for the right dollar figure is just as
sluttish as any other institution today.

What fear is Islam? Where is the capitalist cry, "Buy them. And if you can't buy them, out price them. We did it with Communism." If Haliburton and the other oil giants pulled a Wal-mart and out priced OPEC and concentrated on alternative fuels, Radical Islam would go the way of the Mom and POP shops. How about if the Democratic Countries of the world came together in the name of Social Equality (actual equality), Truth (the honest factual truth), Justice (without exception), and returned to realizing Democracy for the sake of all, instead of manipulating and perverting democracy in the name of capitalism... well my dear people, Radical Islam would have imploded ten years ago and people would be saying, "Islam. What's that?
Some kinda religion insn't it?

I believe in capitalism. I believe in corporate competition, and in free markets. However I do not believe in Capitalism above Society, or before Nationalism, or in place of Democracy. Let us not blame all of radical Islam on some nameless village lout who has never in his life been futher from town than the well and his goat herd. An AK47 is magical. Like the M16 or the Hellfire missile. It can turn a simple drone into an alpha male. Who can return to the goat herd after hearing the song and felt the power of an AK47 on full auto. Just writing that sentence made me for a moment wish I was a believer in the unrestrained. If we are going to express ourselves to the world as being democratic, and a desireable alternative, let us above all be honest in that expression.

P.S. When some people around the world sneer, uttering the word America, they don't mean the United states of America. They're referring to the brand of Democracy that some North Americans or Europeans wish to export in order to exploit them in the name of democracy.
Something like radical Islam.
