Since you seem to be on a rave of how great the western world is, I will put in my two cents. About the eastern world, of course. I do not mean to be racist when I speak of Native "Americans"(As I idolize them), but: While the western world had stayed the same for roughly ten thousand years, the eastern hemisphere had developed advanced architecture, irrigation systems, gunpowder(such as the bombard and culverin), paper(courtesy of the wasps), and algebra. The eastern world even houses the cradle of civilization. All while the western world was so advanced, what with their ice age discovery of how to travel to north america.
