I grew up in Islamic country. Although I am not a Moslem I had to study qur'an and Islamic history just because I attended Public School. Not until I came to the US did I know that Christians and Jews had lived in Mecca and Medina during Mohammed's time. WE were told that the entire population of Arabia were pagans who worshiped Idols. I say that to show how history and religion are falsfied in the Islamic world. I believe that if the true history of Arabia and Islamic invasions are taught in those countries many moslems may convert or at least become less militant. This is why I say Islam is not a religion but a political system
