Reader comment on item: The Islamic States of America?
in response to reader comment: "Bill of Rights" change?

Submitted by Justin (United States), Aug 13, 2011 at 14:10

You are half right. Your right in the sense that they are not allowed to be changed however that hasnt stopped an overreaching government from doing it all kinds of laws that most people dont think about it violate the bill of rights like free speech freedom of press, 2nd amendment,4th smendment. the checpoints on highways by police and body scanners at airports violate the 4 amendment. so they are not suposed to do all this but they keep doing it becuse most people lay down and let the government do what they want. people think doing whatever the government says is being patrioitic but they couldnt be more wrong. real patriots fight and stand for freedom like the founding fathers did.
