We've got work to do

Reader comment on item: The Islamic States of America?

Submitted by David Lincoln (Canada), Sep 27, 2004 at 20:29

This piece sends a clarion call to those who are the last best hope for western society.

Namely, we need to place more time and energy to put into contemporary language the age old truths that each culture possesses. Namely, what the Egyptians called Ma'at, the early Hindis called Rta, those in the far east called the Tao, the Greeks called the philosophy of the Logos, the Jews called the Torah, and how the Christians took it one step further in the first chapter of the Gospel of John.

Otherwise, we will have only learned some of what Max Dimont laid out for us, by the seven templates of history in his book: Jews, God & History.
