Jihad, and the Rise of Nazi Regime

Reader comment on item: [Naveed Haq and] "Sudden Jihad Syndrome" in Seattle

Submitted by DONA MELTZER (United States), Aug 8, 2006 at 16:32

Everything we are seeing today happened before. Not surprisingly, in much the same way. The only difference today is that technology allows these people to spread across the globe their network of hate much faster, easier, and "under the radar." Our "free country" affords them a safe haven to swell their ranks, spread their seeds, and infest our social systems.

"Sudden Jihad" is not sudden at all, it has been festering for decades, right under our noses. We refuse to recognize the signs, we rationalize everything we hear and see. Sound familiar? Try Nazi Germany. Who said "It can't happen here?" That's plain old bull. It can, it has and it will continue to happen not only here but everywhere. The only thing that will stop them is the simple recognition that it is. Once that has been established there is perhaps, hope. Until everyone wakes up from their naps, the beat will go on an on. The "movement" will grow, and there will be no denying it. It will be all.
