I love the logic of these groups who have petitioned Blair to change foreign policy. They claim that the death toll of Muslim civilians in places such as Iraq are a key motivator for the typical jihadhi in their activites against British and American interests. Perhaps we were foolish to believe that these animals could behave like civilised human beings once we removed the leash that Saddam kept them on but it should be reasonably clear to anybody, even a Muslim, that the vast majority of Muslim deaths in the world are caused by Muslims. Deaths caused by 'coalition' or Israeli forces account for a tiny fraction of such casualties.

Even in the comparatively rare instances when a Muslim dies at the hands of the US, British, or Israeli military the blood of the victims is clearly on the hands of the cowardly 'insurgent' who thinks it clever to hide out amongst a civilian population and take potshots at defenceless children rather than 'duke it out' with men on neutral ground.

We don't need to bomb... Cut off the aid. They don't have the wits to feed themselves...
