The Islamic terrorists among us

Reader comment on item: [Naveed Haq and] "Sudden Jihad Syndrome" in Seattle

Submitted by Donald Grant Cheesman (United States), Aug 8, 2006 at 12:31

" Sudden jihad syndrome " should be a warning to all Americans and other western nations that the radical minded Muslims interwoven into our populations are time bombs waiting to explode against us. Fanatical Islam is a threat to the world and is already taking a serious toll on world peace. Sadly, too many members at the United Nations are either part of the threat or in some way sympathetic to the extremist Islamic goals.

It doesn't matter if we Americans like or dislike President Bush, he is right in facing reality and standing firm in the war against terror. This war is like no other in our history. Again, sadly, nations like Russia, China and India appear to be satisfied with America and Israel going it alone against a dangerous and determined enemy with tentacles around the world. Europe, as a whole, appears paralized to act in concert with those few nations fighting to put Islamic extremism back in a box.

Instead Europe coddles the muslims in their midst and Russia, China and North Korea sell them arms to destablize the Middle East and other regions, all at the expense of the few nations trying to restore world peace. Khan, of Pakistan, did all he could to proliferate nuclear knowledge to unstable regimes and ultimately to terrorists. The big unknown now is where do we go from here?
