Pretty simple.

Life in this world was never meant to be perfect. Some of us will live to be 100 years old, others will die younger, and yet some will never make it alive from the womb.

Death and suffering are not necessarily punishments from Allah. In the end, I believe Allah will be just and will wrong nobody. Those who are innocent and young who suffer will see their sufferings turn into rewards in the Afterlife.

Some of us have been blessed in this life with good parents and wealth. In Islam, there is an obligation for those who are well-off to help others who are less fortunate. This is where the mercy of Allah shows itself...through those of us who are well-off.

And in the end, it will be all be evened out and no-one will be wronged.
