"Hurt your feelings"?!? You never considered mine and you expect me to consider yours? You realize that's the worst that you're going to get out of me.

What you quoted came out of some Hadith floating out there that cannot be authenticated. I have no use for it, which is why I wasn't aware of its existence. The Qur'an is from God and is the central authority in Islam. The Hadith, on the other hand, is not from God but from man and is likely to be riddled with errors. I KNOW that there are hadiths out there that contradict the Qur'an in the most irrational ways. Such Hadiths are not to be taken seriously and do not stand up to scrutiny. The one that you quoted here doesn't seem to have anything to do with Islam.

And you still haven't answered my question: If you have a better religion/philosophy/way of life, please let us all know what it is, or are you what Rush Limbaugh would call a "nattering nabob of negativity"? You still haven't suggested anything constructive here...
